1. Does World Distributors, Inc. drop ship merchandise?

We will drop ship merchandise only on prepaid orders. If you would like to use a credit card, then we ask that you fill and sign a Credit Card Drop-Shipment Authorization form which is downloadable by clicking on the link. We can place your name and address as the return address if requested. 

INTERNATIONAL DROP-SHIPMENTS

We do not drop ship to international addresses or APO/FPO addresses on credit card payment. This is because all such shipments must be sent with an accompanying Invoice for Customs purposes. This could result in your customer possibly receiving the Invoice with your prices listed on it. 

The only way this could be achieved is if you send us a Mail order with a Money Order payment along with the Invoice you wish to have shipped with the merchandise. We will then mail you your Invoice and mail your customer the Invoice you sent us.

2. How many catalogs does World Distributors, Inc. publish?

World Distributors, Inc. has only one catalog that we introduce annually around the end of July. We also have supplemental flyers that we publish seasonally and aimed at target audiences.

Our main catalog has two variations: Wholesale (Item Code: "WNC"), and Retail (Item Code: "NNC"). The wholesale catalog is for our wholesale customers and it contains the wholesale as well as suggested retail prices. The retail catalog does not have our name or the wholesale prices on it, thus enabling our customers to distribute them to their own customers who only see the Suggested Retail price of the items.

We do not publish Confidential Price Lists. Our wholesale catalog acts as the Price List.

3. Where can I get more Order Forms ?

You can request one when you place your initial order or download one. We always ship an Order Form with every mail order.

4. How can I an account with World Distributors?

There are no membership fees. All you have to do is order with us and we will assign you a customer number. When you place your next order, just refer to the customer number and we will retrieve your account on our computers.

5. Do you Back Order or Substitute?

We back order at our discretion if we are certain that the merchandise will be arriving within the near future (maximum 2 weeks). 

Substitutions of merchandise will only happen if we are out of a particular item and we have a similar item for replacement. If not, we try to contact the customer and ask permission to substitute an item that is discontinued or out of stock. We always try to contact the customer, but sometimes we unable to contact a customer and substitute items at our discretion.

6. What is your COD policy?

  1. First-time customers are required to place 25% of their grand total as a deposit in order to have the balance sent COD. Otherwise, they must pre-pay for their first order.
  2. All COD orders must be paid for by Money Order or Cashier's Check only.
  3. All customers who have had at least one completed transaction and whose accounts are in good standing qualify to place COD orders.
  4. COD Returns: If a COD package is returned to World Distributors, Inc. for any reason whatsoever, the customer's account will be placed on probationary status during which time they may not place COD orders until the past shipping costs plus COD charges are repaid.
  5. Re-instatement of COD privileges for a customer on probationary status will be done solely at the discretion of World Distributors, Inc.
  6. We do not ship COD orders via Express Shipping options without a deposit which must cover the shipping charges plus the COD fee.

7. How long do you hold checks?

Personal and Company checks are held 3-4 weeks for clearance by our bank prior to the orders being processed.


8. Can I use your merchandise images to re-sell your products for myself?

Yes, you may do so as long as you do not claim the pictures to be your own property. For drop-shipment information, please see our policy above.

9. What is your return policy?

  1. We do not accept any returns whatsoever on 10 karat and 14 karat gold jewelry.
  2. Customers may return items if they are dissatisfied with them (except in the case of Videotapes or DVDs) or if the items are defective.
  3. Videotapes, DVDs, Cassettes and CDs may be exchanged for the same item only or returned for a refund, but only if they are defective.
  4. It is the customer's responsibility to inform UPS (1-800-PICK-UPS) if the received boxes show any damage on the outside. Please inspect the boxes carefully upon receipt and notify or file a claim with the driver if any damage is visible to the box.
  5. Customers must inform us of their desire to return any merchandise within 7 business days of receiving said merchandise.
  6. A Return Authorization Number ("RA Number") must be obtained by the customer by calling Customer Service at 773-777-2345. This RA Number must be written on the outside of the box when the items are sent back. Absence of the RA Number will result in the package being refused and sent back to the customer.
  7. A copy of the invoice must accompany the returned merchandise.
  8. All returned merchandise must be received by World Distributors, Inc. within 30 days of the Invoice Date.
  9. Credit Memos will be issued for returned merchandise.
  10. If a refund check is requested, one will be issued for orders that were paid for via Personal/Cashier's Check or Money Order. On orders that were paid for by credit/debit cards, a credit will be applied to the card.
  11. All costs involved in the mailing of returned merchandise must be paid by the customer. Shipping Cost reimbursements will be given only in the case of an error  committed by World Distributors. We do not issue Call Tags to have merchandise picked up.

10. Do you have a minimum order amount?

The minimum order amount is at least a $100 order for adult products.

11. What is your shipping charge?

We charge $10 or Actual Freight (approximately 10%-12%), whichever is greater.

12. Can I order items from you in half-units?

We cannot break the units in which we sell the merchandise. For example, if we sell items by the dozen, you have to purchase them by the dozen. We cannot sell a half-dozen.
